whats your view on life as it is today. do you think it will get any better or are you happy the way it is.

WHO CARES? the only meaning I can see is to chill out and enjoy it no matter what, whether good times or bad... HAVE FUN.
how about this 4-2, life is "for two" people to create more life, the meaning of life is 4-2 people to get together and keep the wheel of life rolling by loving each other and having children. 4-2. am I the only one to see this? 42 is nothing but a simple message that was hidden by simplicity.

Geez, the 42 thing is a joke, a parody...
The very concept "the meaning of life" has become such a cliché that it has often been parodied, such as in the radio series The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams, later released as a novel, a television series, a film, and a computer game. As the story goes, an advanced race of hyper-intelligent pan-dimensional beings (mice) builds a gigantic computer called Deep Thought to find The Answer to Life, the Universe, and Everything.
Seven and a half-million years later, the computer gives the answer: "42" After giving the answer to an (unsurprisingly) underwhelmed audience, Deep Thought explained that the problem with the answer was not the answer, but that no-one really knew what the question was.

I take it you're not a fan of Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. It turns out, according the the Great Computer in that British sit-com, that the meaning of life and everything is "42".

Now that's a deep thought, but 42 is about as good an answer as any.

So the meaning needs more deciphering

Fill in the blank. There is either another number for which type while holding down shift or there is a much deeper word that fills the mysterious blank.
Hmmmm....
Money/dollars/bills...Ah Ha!
Bill as in the name Bill in junction with his location at a specific point in time is crucial to our existence as it is the meaning of life.
Bill at Ihop...Bill at Wal-mart...Bill at Lowes...
I guess we'll never know until we get more numbers and clues.

The meaning of life differs for each of us individually,society changes and some things become more acceptable than others.Paedophiles,muggers,violent gangs, religious fanatics and people who take advantage of others have always existed.Don't question why we are here but what we can do while we are here,respect for others is difficult but may be achieved and if it did happen the world would be a better place.As for my meaning of life well that's my familly,I live for them and would probabley die for them.

If a person's not happy with life the way it is,,,it's their own fault,,,,if you're watching TV and you don't like what's on...you just keep changing the channel until you find something you like,,,,,ther's no reason whatsoever that ANYONE can't do the same thing with their life,,,,ya dont like it,,,change it,,,its as simple as that,,,,so MY meaning of life is summed up in one word,,,"Happiness",,,,to do my best to assure that myself and everyone's life that I touch,,,is full of HAPPINESS,,,,If you have THAT,,,,everything else just falls into place

I'm not happy with the way it is no. And no I don't think it will get any better. It has been declining over the years and in my short time on earth so far I have seen society decline SO MUCH. It is only going to get worse. I just try to enjoy whatever moments i can with my family whom I love and try to be a light in this dark dark world.
