I doubt it. Nothing has been reported in the SD Union-Tribune to that effect. Moreover, it just completed a 10 million dollar expansion in June. It would be stupid to shut everything down so soon after investing so much into it.

Although Legoland is a money pit for it's owners, which could be the reason you heard such rumors of it's closing, Legoland is not closing down anytime soon.

Not to my knowledge, I know they just opened up a new attraction. I would say it's possible because a lot of amusement parks attendance have been low.
