If you are trying to reset your home page to "Yahoo", open tools, internet options and where it says "home page", type in http://www.yahoo.com -- if this does not work, check to make sure that you have not set your antispyware to lock your home page on http://www.msn.com -

If you know for sure that this is not the case, remove internet explorer and reinstall internet explorer from microsoft downloads.

And make sure that you make Yahoo your home page.

Make sure that all your Microsoft patches are current.

And also run your antispyware & antivirus program to make sure you don't have a trojan that is trying to re-direct your home page setting.

Hope this helps you.

go to the top of internet explorer then click on tools then internet options and you will see the address box and three buttons first click on use blank then click apply then ok it should work now, but if you still facing the same prob check if you have some anti spyware/adware programe installed or not some anti spyware/adware programes stops changing default home page in order to prevent spywares/ mall wares/adwares to change your home page. check the settings in these programes if they are stopping you to change home page disable temerarily their settings will let you change the home page then dont forget to enable the sttting again in these anti spyware programme otherwise your pc will be velnerable to apywares . and if you are sure that these programs are not stoping you to chang the home page , scan your pc with antispyware software to detect if your pc is clean or infected with spyware.
