Funny isn't it? I had this same conversation with someone recently...When are you cleaner than when you FIRST step out of the shower? Never. I use my bath towel 3-4 times between uses, but I use a smaller clean towel for my hair daily. I don't understand people that use their bath towel once and wash it. It's like, wow, were you so dirty after that shower/bath that your towel need washed after 1 use???
However, if you are going to use your towel more than once, make sure that you hang it up immediately after use in an area that gets plenty of ventilation. You don't want to wad it up and let it mildew!

When something hangs wet for hours, bacteria has a chance to grow. Some people use their towel again the next day, but after that it will no longer smell fresh, and may even begin to gain a "musty" smell.
If it was placed in the dryer immediately after use, perhaps it would need laundered less, but then you are wasting energy by not drying full loads.

I wash mine every other shower due to the skin cells that will be on the towel when you are done drying off.

Myself and family never re-use the towel after a shower. It just doesn't seem right........yes you are clean and it is your body but there is also skin cells and then it hangs there and bacteria and stuff. Nope, not for me or my family. Though nothing wrong if others don't agree. Everyone has their own preference

We use our towels for 3-4 days before washing. Yes...by the 4th day it will start to smell musty so then we do laundry.
It's a waste of energy, soap and water to wash towels every single day...... besides, throwing towels in the dryer will cause them to wear out faster. Every time you dry something in the dryer...all that lint that is pulled out is pieces of your towel. So, in the long run, if you wash towels even every 2-3 days, you're saving money on soap, water, energy and purchasing towels themselves.

well, I always ask why do people reuse the same towel after they take a shower. Even through through you are clean a clean towel needs to be used after every shower.
If you reuse the same towel it gets damp and stinks.

Yes, you'll be cleaner after a shower, but there will still be oil on your skin and air.
Try comparing a clean towel with one you've re-used for three days and you'll find the latter will smell fresher than the former.

I use the same towel for a few days. It makes sense...and you are right, you are clean and the towel is clean...so why use a new one everyday!

i've got continuously re-used various cases previously washing. in case you carry them up right and your climate won't be humid, the towel must be thoroughly dry previously your next use - no mildew and mould. And as reported decrease than, you have in basic terms washed and rinsed - all that would desire to be on your physique is water.
