I'm torn between 2 characters.

Data, because of his innocent style and wide eyed curiousity about being human and having emotions makes him one of the most likeable characters.

Q- Because he comes across as such a jerk, yet becomes such a victim of his own onmipotence more than once. He's the kind you love to hate, but yet feel sorry for him at times.

I'm torn. So many of the characters in Star Trek have been wonderful, that I have trouble choosing which one would be the absolute best.

I suppose that I'll have to go with Data on this. Data's quest to become more human reminded all of us of what it was to be human. His innocent mistakes and questions about social interaction showed us humanity at it's very core at times.

I can't really specify one in particular, but i'd say all the characters from Star Trek Voyager. I'm so sad that it's gone now...

I've always liked Bashir from DS9. He was one of the best depicted in terms of character development as we saw him as an eager, arrogant kid in the first episode to the jaded, hardened man he was in the very last episode. I loved his genetics background and his ties to Section 31 (I wished we could have seen much more of them). He also had some great sarcastic one-liners.

Trekkie right here too ? unfold the affection ;) i do no longer think of it sounds extraordinary in any respect. Tiberius / Tyberius is a precise call with a historic background. there have been Kings named Tiberius (i think of it became the Roman Empire). examine wikipedia just to be sure or google it. J.T. is a cool nickname if he did no longer decide to apply the entire call. i think of numerous trekkies might like that call. you will possibly desire to continuously call your 2nd son Picard or Jean-Luc. lol! ;)

Mr. Spock. There was never anyone like him before. TNG got real lucky with the Data character, whom I love also. (He's fully functional, you know.)

I will have to say Wharf (not sure of spelling). I liked that Klingon warrior mentality he had and how he kept it in check when he had too. Of course he was half human, but we can't hold that against him, can we?
