When I was first pregnant I had taken several tests that said that I was not pregnant, and a week or so later they said I was, so I went to a clinic and they did an ultrasound and let me know that I was in deed pregnant. I also just knew by the way my body felt. I had very sore breasts and cravings for the same food day after day. Besides the absence of my period... it was always abnormal, so that was not an obvious give away. Your best bet is to trust your body and stop wasting money on home pregnancy tests, just go to a free clinic whom will be more than happy to help you. Good luck...and congratulations if you are I just had a baby and yes it was a tough decision, but it is the best thing in the whole world.

Hi there, I take it you are referring to the one that can detect the hcg hormone before your period is due... I took that one on the same day my period was due, and got a "negative", and then about 5-7 days later I tested again and got a "positive" result, less than 8 months later my baby girl was born. I'd say you are most likely pregnant, and that yes, there wasn't enough of the hormone (hcg) in your urine for the test to detect it before. So breath now ;), go to the doctors on Tuesday and get a blood test, which will reassure you. Lastly from everything I've ever heard, and I'm on my 6th pregnancy (3 live births, 2 miscarriages, and 1 baby due in December), those tests can only give a false positive if you are taking hormones to increase fertility. Good Luck!!!

Relax, take a deep breath. Everyone HCG level (pregnancy hormone) develops at different rates. You may be pregnant and the test is showing negative because the HCG level is not high enough. You also may not be pregnant, but thinking about it so much is making you feel like you are.
The key is to relax. If you are not pregnant your period will come after you have calmed down, If you are pregnant the test will come out positive in time.

Those test results are only good for 10 minutes...after that they will often change to positive. If you think you are pregnant then you need to go to the doctor for a blood test. When I was pregnant with one of my sons I never had a positive test till almost 5 months along, but at 7 weeks I had a positive blood test..

I am sure you aren't supposed to read the tests after 10 minutes. Many tests will turn positive if given enough time. However, if you took the tests very early you probably didn't have enough HCG in your urine to trigger a positive. You need to wait until the day you are supposed to get your period and test again. Good luck, I hope you get the answer you want.

If they are negative when you did the test then you are not pregnant. If you let them still longer then the time says on the box then look at it again, it is not accurate. The line evaporates and makes it turn positive. Sorry to say you are not pregnant. Just read the box, it should tell you how long the test takes and in what time to read the results.

If more than one test is positive...most likely you are....see your Dr right away. It takes sometime for your pg hormone to build up. Your Dr. can do a blood test and see how far along you are.

I would try to take another one. This probably means that you are pregnant but I would take another one just to be on the safe side.
