im looking for a good reliable "mechanic" or "technician" to work on my 1994 acura integra, i live in buffalo ny....i am willing to travel just not too far out is anyone here from a surrounding suburb or the north or southtowns?!!!!..willing to pay good $ if you can fix my car!..please help or give me any input you might have, maybe you know someone in this area that may be able to help!

i find it hard to believe that there is not one good mechanic you can work with in the entire city of buffalo or the surrounding area. if you have the money there should be no problem finding the right person for the job.
are you just looking for attention?

Look for a repair facility that proudly displayes an ASE or ASC sign. These facilities have gone through a voluntary testing process by an independant accrediting organization that tests expertise and fair dealing with clients. To get an ASE or ASC accreditation, the facility must have the highest Industry standards. Look for the Blue Gear with ASE in the center, or ASC, in purple. ACE is also a reputable accrediting organization.
Also, AAA has an accreditation program. If you find a repair facility with both , three, or even all four, you have struck gold.
Remember, these facilities would not seek accredtation if they were not proud of the work that they do. All three of these programs are voluntary. The AAA accreditation is stringently monitored by top automotive professionals.
Look for the signs, or, cartalk.com has a list of local "good guys".
