I just started at a new school in a totally differnet state in a brand new school. The way I suggest you make friends is to, like everyone on this planet says, be yourself. If a teacher starts a conversation with you, then tell a lot about yourself. What happened to me was I sat down at an empty luch table with no one, then one of the teachers I met came up to me and introduced me to some people since she saw me sitting alone. :) Hope all ends well.

You should talk to everyone and try to be friends with everyone. The most important point is to be yourself. In every school there is pure pressure and never give in to that even though your friends might think you aren't cool and stop being your friend. If that happens hang tough and don't feel like a loser because they aren't true friends if they try to put you through things you don't want to do and you walk away being the cool one.

I know how it is I`ve just started a new school and I had to work up the courage but what I did is just said hi and so on from there I ask the girl were they knew and where they`re from its not reallly hard when you get over being shy

Be yourself, don't do things that you wouldn't normally do just to fit in. It will come back to bite you in the butt if you act the way everyone wants you to act. Believe me.
