How long have you been experiencing this pain Ben?

Whic part of your back is aching?

What instances are you experiencing back pains?

How intense is the pain you are experiencing?

Most reasons are triggered by stress, either through work or strenuous physical activities.

If your back pain did not cause you to be sick for one week, then perhaps it could only be muscle strain. Or your posture.

Then again, if it is a recurring pain already, it is best you check with your doctor and have yourself examined.

Get some professional help, or figure out what caused the pain. It could be as simple as sleeping on the wrong mattress or as complicated as pain from a small fender bender. Get some feedback from one who knows chiropractic or a medical massage practitioner with significant experience. Press your thumb or first finger on your right side of your bottom of your foot(arch). Below the ball of your foot and above the heel. Feel for soreness ,callouses or tightness. Just massage up and down the arch. This point connects with your spine; according to the ancient chinese. It will send neurosensors (energy) to that organ or area and may give you relief. Train your partner to give you a massage!.

Please be more specific. Where is the pain. What you should do is lie on your back and elevate your legs by putting them on pillows. When better do exercises to strengthen the back.
