Well scrubs exfoliate your skin. They make your skin softer. But if you don't want your skin to dry out right after you use your scrub use a cream cleanser. Like Clinique for example. And If your trying to get rid of zits just use Dove soap and clinique skin mosturizer. It's yellow and about $12.00 a bottle. It really works though.

Well the scrub cleanser usually have some type of a ground up material that helps to clean the skin. I have used types that have like peach pits or avocado in them. It also helps to exfoliate the skin. If you have sensitive skin this may irritate it. They work really good. Cream cleansers don't have any thing in them like Noxzema or something like that. However if you have acne the scrub may also irritate the acne so the cream may be better. I actually use Dove Daily Cleansing pads, they are two sided and the cleaner is inside and comes out of the pad when you run it under water. It has a cleansing side and a exfoliating side. I find they work really well and I do get bouts of acne from time to time. Plus Dove is gentle on your skin. I use them at night before I put my acne medication on and you can actually see any dirt that is removed on the pad.

Scrub cleansers exfoliate away dead skin cells to expose newer, softer skin. Cream cleansers are used mostly for moisturization for drier skin types (while a gel based cleanser is more for oily/combination skin types). Scrubs can be used every day if they are a gentle scrub, but if they are quite rough they should only be used about twice a week to clear away dead skin (while using a cream or gel cleanser the days you don't use the scrub).

Scrubs will exfoliate the skin, which means that all the dead skin will fall of when you clean it. Cream cleansers just cleans the skin.

Scrubs will exfoliate more than creams will. I always use scrubs to remove dead skin cells. Makes my skin softer.
