As a side note, it is these "cones" that pretty much dismiss any ideas of time travel into the future.
When someone speaks of traveling at great velocities and than returning to earth at a much later time (i.e. you're gone 5 years - your time - and it's 25 years - earth's time), you have no more traveled into the future than when I retire tonight, eight hours will have passed when I awaken.
