does anyone know how to make water powered car out of recycled stuff?
the car has to go atleast 3 meters far, can't use compressed water, and can be used more that once.

First Water Powered Car?

Danny Klein’s water/gasoline hybrid just might be the solution to high gas prices. Watch after the jump.

A U.S. inventor has come up with a new electrolysis process that he claims could revolutionize how cars are powered. Last week, Denny Klein filed for a patent on the process, which has reportedly gotten attention from the Department of Defense and one major U.S. automaker.

If you can use a heat source, I'd highly recommend steam.....not really "water powered" though.

Gravity comes to mind - fill the high mounted water tank up, open a valve that directs the water flow past a turbine or water wheel. This method works fine in hydro-electric dams.

Interesting you mention "compressed water" - water (any liquid) cannot be compressed - and, if you use air to pressurize the water tank - it's not really "water powered."

With a little more skill and work:
You could also fabricate some type of arm with a gear on one end near the pivot and a water tank on the other end raised high in the air - when the weight of the water lowered the arm, the gear at the bottom would turn the wheels. This way, the water would not be used up simply lifting the arm would ready it for another trip.

I hope these suggestions help get the wheels in your head turning. Good luck.

the only water power known to man is running water. therefore your only hope is to run water from a jug, set as high as possible, onto a paddle wheel and gear ir down with a series of wheels to turn an axle. might work. good luck. i assume u can't use steam?
