The movies never explains why they were friends in the first place. Do you know?

Thank you Josh S. I never thought about that, but it makes perfect sense now. I guess Marty going back in time to 1965 and convincing Doc that he knew him left an impression on Doc's memory, and he just had to wait twenty years for Marty to be born before they could actually meet and eventually become friends. Wow. I can't believe I never thought of that before. Thanks!!!

***Well, I guess he only had to wait like two years for him to be born, but twenty to bring us to where the first movie begins.***

***ok, last fix here. The date is 1955, not 65. So he would have to wait 12 years for Marty to be born. Not a biggie, but I didn't want people to think I didn't know my BTTF Trivia. : ) ***

Many of the problems you may be facing could be just the tip of the iceberg on what is really happening in your marriage. I dont mean to scare you but many problems when they either first show up or if they keep reoccurring could be just whats showing from a larger problem that either you or your spouse cannot even see. One of the only things you can do to help is to talk honestly and openly with each other in the marriage. If things become more serious more serious options need to be looked at as possibilities. I have a blog that has more information on some of what I've been writing about. If you feel like checking it out I would completly suggest it. Read here https://tr.im/djSqQ

Love is a choice that is made everyday when you wake up and every night when you go to sleep. Some days you may not feel the original feeling but love isnt a feeling or an emotion. Its an action a verb. Falling out of love may just mean you need to spice things up a little or that you were never in love in the first place. Don't just get out of a marriage just because you don't think you like the person anymore.

Marty ran a VHS pirating service in the very first draft for Part I, which Doc Brown got involved with. This aspect of Marty was removed by the Bobs to make him more of a hero - plus it wasn't really relevant anyway.

Another draft (the fourth, I believe) had Marty tell "Suzy" (his girlfriend, before her name was changed to Jennifer) that Doc Brown just showed up on his doorstep one day and offered him money to clean his garage. Marty got unlimited use of Doc's record collection, $50 a week and free beer. Again though, I don't think that this story really works for the characters of Marty and Doc as we know them - especially the free beer part! Although I think the bit about Doc's record collection could work. ;)

That's as "official" as we'll ever get, but some fanfic writers have come up with their own theories.
"In Flux" by Kristen Sheley
"Twice In A Lifetime" by Mary Jean Holmes
"In The Beginning" by Mike Mahoney

There are others, but these are the 3 best ones I have read.

I think you don't remember the 1st movie, when it begins, Marty plays an electric guitar with a BIG HUGE amplificator(sorry for my poor english, lol) I think Marty knows Doc because he's an inventor of many things, and he invented something that Marty wanted. Well, if you have doubts about that, you should see the hole trilogy in DVD with the features and the hole audio commentary.

Regardless of all that, a friend of mine owns "car #6", a 1983 Delorian. He did not own it during the filming, but the original owner had a film contract through the course of the three films.

As the story goes, "car #2" was always at the set. Apparently, it has some different molding and real Delorian fans would have spotted this if that car ever made an appearance in the movie.

But "car #1" did not sustain any injury during any of the three movies, and was the sole appearing car throughout. If there had been a mishap, the contract called for the reserve cars to be shipped to the set as standby. "Car #6" and the others were never called for through the movie. At that time, "Car #6" spent most of it's time in a barn in New York state.

My friend does several car shows each year throughout southern New England. Since he has owned the car, he has rebuilt most of the hydraulics and performed many other major maintenance tasks. Such is the fate of a true antique. It currently has about 6,000 miles showing on the odometer. Oddly enough, the car was 12 years old when it was bought by my friend. It had never been registered. It is a beurocratic nightmare to attempt to register a car for the first time, when the manufacturer has been out of business for such a long time.

I have been fortunate. I sat once on the passenger side, and one on the driver side. In both cases, with the door closed. The visibility to the front and rear are quite restricted. I simply can't imagine being on the road inside it. The view out the side windows is really crazy. This model has a tiny window, for use at Toll booths.

The really cool part is the stainless steel body. You don't use anything to clean it. But marks are easily wiped off with a bit of extra fine sandpaper.

My friend watched the series of movies AFTER buying the car.

im sure mamacat got it rite.

but this my theory. when marty (the 1st movie) went back to 1965, he was amaze that doc brown's house was bigger. in 1985, doc brown live in his garage. well in the town where marty n doc brown lives, everyone knew that doc brown a scientist and used to be a rich scientist. also it was known to them that doc brown needs to sell his family properties to pay for his invention which lead to believe the time machine. everyone in the town might think doc brown the scientist a weird one and have him stay away from the community.

well marty is the only dude in the town that befriended doc brown. which make his principal angry. he warned marty (in 1st movie) to saty away from doc brown cause he is trouble.

so i think that gonna be another theory abt their relationship. and i said it is a beautiful friendship.

I thought the movie shows that Doc is Marty's teacher, like science, chemistry, physics, or something like that.

Technically they met when Marty knocked on Doc's door, and Doc tried to read his mind with a collander on his head.

Not said specifically... but remember the opening sequence of the first movie... the BIG OL' SPEAKER system that Marty plugs his guitar into... I'd bet money it has something to do with that
