As long as it is not too cold outside, he should be fine for short periods of time. They have naked little feet which are sensitive to cold and frostbite. Most ferrets prefer to be warm and snuggly when it is cold.

As long as its not too long nor too cold....make sure its on a leash/harness though, boy are they fast if they get away! I had to find this leash and harness because the previous three, my Slinky got out of in a matter of minutes! Lucky for me i decided to test him on the leashes/harness in the house and not outside!

no. they catch cold real easy. and you won't even know is.that is inhumane.
