Absolutely. I didn't know exactly what to make of the first one. Was it supposed to be funny, or was it trying to be "cool"? It of course failed at both. It was absolutely ridiculous. The second one was a bit better, but not much. I don't care to ever see either one of them again.

I believe it was highly over rated and pretty much killed my love for QTs movies. It made me take a step back and realize I only really liked Reservoir Dogs and Pulp Fiction his other stuff is so-so at best, too bad so many people have a huge hard on for him just because he is Tarantino

Its easy to get burned out by media hype but I think Kill Bill is a truly great movie. I feel energized every time I see it.
I found this article about it very enlightening. http://www.24liesasecond.com/site2/index.php?page=2&task=index_onearticle.php&Column_Id=78
Apparantly the plot and theme of the movie follows Zen Buddist religion and philosophy fairly closely and may even have been inserted into the story by Uma Thurman without Quenton Tarantino's concious knowledge.

Actually, I thought both was cool in a retro way. I am a big fan of saturday afternoon Kung-Fu theater, so I really liked part I. Then again, I enjoyed how II was made just like old Spaghetti Westerns. You have to be a fan of older movies to truly enjoy them.

For me, I was very satisfied with it.
Part of it might be my age, I'm almost 50, and there were a ton of references woven into the movie.
Lot's of pop culture from the 50's and 60's that I thought was very well done!
Sometimes you've just got to be old enough to get it.

Vol. 1 was great; Vol 2 got a tad too talky, especially near the end

yup, it sure is. It could have been a little better and not as long. I just don't understand why there was so much hype about this movie. To me it was just O.K.*
