I'm buddhist; the question of how existence came into being doesn't account in our teachings. In fact, it's considered a question to be avoided because it's unprovable, and therefore can only lead to disagreement, which causes suffering. The question we would put forth isn't were we created or evolved, but what can we do about the horrendous amount of suffering that's come into being because of existence?

I think that's a question, regardless of what religion or philosophy you may have, that is worth reviewing.

Now many people believe in evolution but I have a question to ask, why is it that evolution has stopped, I mean the ape no longer evolves into man, or whatever as the scientist proclaim from millions of years ago, why is that exactly? I suppose they will have a scientific explanation for that as well.

Everyone is entitled to their belief, I believe in creation and God has given every living creature the ability to procreate which is still a fact today.

Check out drdino.com

this guy is offering cash reward for anyone who can prove evolution...so why has noone claimed it??

Believe either way but don't be fooled into thinking evolution has been proven - its no more science (testable fact) that creation is. This debate is just a choice between two religions evolution and creation.

People! It cannot be "kinda both." There is no religion that feels that God took 15 billion years to make the universe what it is today, as evoltion states. Creation, acording to the Bible, has Eve created from Adam's rib ladies. You buy that?
Evolution is not a "theory." It is a process of the scientific method.

I tend to believe it is actually Creation by Evolution. Two halves of the circle completing itself and both are ongoing!

Creation without a doubt. Science has far to many unanswered questions and to many gaps to support the evolution theory. There are also many many books and papers trying to convince people that evolution is the answer but only one Bible that proves we were created and did not come from a rock.

There should be a medium. Creation and Evolution. Put the two together.

Both,
Co-existence

Have you ever read Voltaire? It makes you think. He was an outspoken opponent of the church, but believed that if there was a watch there must be a watchmaker (metaphor). All the science and archaeology supports evolution though. It has to exist. In my opinion either God created the universe and then evolution happened or he created the universe and all the evidence of evolution with it (both are pretty much the same).
Another thing I find interesting is the historical precedent for religion (it may seem blasphemous). Ancient Greek, Roman, Mesopotamian monotheism (sun god, wind god, etc.) seems ridiculous to us. In fact though they were just creating Gods to explain what they don't understand. In modern times we understand more (the sun, wind, etc.), but we don't understand the purpose of life, the beginning of life, etc. Isn't it a coincidence that those are the exact answers that God and major religions give us?

Once again, I believe in coexistence.

There are elements of creativity in evolution. Evolution is subservient of creation.
