Try to relax more before you go to bed. Read a book, prop up your feet and watch some TV, take a nice warm (not hot) bubble bath or shower, or drink a glass of warm milk. Go to sleep listening to a nice relaxing CD. The ocean, or soft classical music, or a nice quiet rain forest. And probably the best one and the cheesiest, is think happy thoughts. We typically have nightmares because subconsciously we fear something, or are stressed about something.
Has this pregnancy been more difficult than the last one? Have things in your life recently changed other than being pregnant? If relaxation techniques don't work, you can try counseling. A counselor or therapist can help you get to the root of what's bothering you, and help relieve nightmares.
As pregnant women we're prone to them anyway because we're worried about the baby, we're worried about work, home, other kids, school, husbands, etc etc. But if you're experiencing them that often, I'd say you are a bit more stressed than normal. So try some of the suggestions you're gonna get and if they don't work, then talk to your doctor, or a therapist. Good luck!! =)

I certainly remember all those scary dreams when i was pregnant with my first son, the more i stressed about things going wrong, the more i dreamed of disastrous things occuring, i mainly dreamed of falling down stairs but when it became too much for me, i started thinking positively and my dreams turned from nightmares to me holding my beautiful baby for the first time. Good luck, hope all goes well!

first dont worry. every woman i have ever known has had nightmares during their pregnancy about horrid things happening.not to mention after their children were born having dreams about their baby getting hurt of even worse. try not eating before bed. if you need a snack try something like a glass of water an some carrot sticks it helped me. i had dreams of no face if you know what i mean. or my children being born disfigured. both kids came out with all body parts. however my second had something between his legs??? this makes him a boy lol you shouldnt worry. just keep going to your doctor and getting plenty of excercise

Lots of women have nightmares or weird dreams while they are pregnant. I had dreams that my kids were born with bodies of chickens and someone was trying to steal them, no bigger then my pinkie and I kept losing them. I think I really had a fear of someone kidnapping my kids and it carried over into my dreams.
Try to relax and don't let them stress you to much, they to will pass just like morning sickness and such does.

think of what happens in the dreams, other than the miscarriage. you're not dreaming about a miscarriage. dreams aren't literal. they have hidden messages behind them for to decode. if you are picking out baby clothes and are really excited then next thing you know you're in the hospital with miscarriage, it could mean something as simple as something always rains on your parade. try a dream book or try to interpret it on your own. if you're running from a monster, what in your life would represent that monster? good luck. and don't worry.

The more you worry about your dreams the more you will have. You must be worried about something real in your life. Over whelmed, marriage or boyfriend not working out, someone you know have a problem with their pregnancy. You manifest your anxiety in your dreams. It doesn't mean something is going to happen to your pregnancy. Look for answers in other areas in your life.

Try and relax before going to bed. I had some strange dreams while I was pregnant with my son. One was that he was taken from me while I was in a store and every where I turned I could hear him cry. I started to relax my body before I went to bed and listened to nature sounds while I was a sleep. That seemed to have helped me.

Same thing happened to me. Crazy, scary dreams. It's your mind racing over all the possibilities... After awhile it'll pass and be replaced by less wierd dreams. Will still be wierd but not as bad.

You are stress out about something. Try and reduce the stress. Whether it be talking to your husband, reading a book, watching a feel good movie before bed. Try and keep positive images before you go to sleep. If you have old home movies of your first baby try watching them before going to sleep.
