Maybe it's not that easy, but if u can help me, I'm trying to find a song. The problem is I don''t know it's name and don't know who used to sing it. I think it was a guy, but maybe it was a band. It was a hit in 1973.

I don't know if this helps that much, but it's an American song, in English, and contains the word love. Actually, it contains the sentence Love is here, love is there, love.....something, something.

Thank you

Is this it?

Bang
You Know, I Know

Love is here, love is there anytime and anywhere
The game of love we know, the game of love we know
Got to get it, got to get it. Touch the love and hold it
You know and I know. It's the game of love
Searching through the night. Love will make it right
Searching through the dark looking for the light
It's the game that we play every night and day
You know and I know, you know and I know

You know, I know, you and I know
T the game of love
(It's love, it's love)
You know, I know, you and I know
The game of love
(You know, I know).
You've got to share the game

We know what to do, we know what to do
The game of love is what we need
We've got to see it through
We know what to do, we know what to do
The game of love is what we need
We've got to see it through

The game of love is easy, .......................... sure
You know and I know, we need .................. more
Open up the door, open up the door
You know and I know, you know and I know

IT isnt a song i dont think, but I know its a poem.

Where Is Love?

by Craig A Steavenson

As We Progress With Our Lives
Some Of Us Are Fortunate To
Find Love
However Some Of Us Keep Searching
Wondering Where And When We Will
Find Love

So I Ask Where Is Love?

Oh, That Symbolic Dove,
Always In Flight Never
Seeming To Alight
How Symbolic It Is!

But That Is The Key That Unlocks
The Mystery Of Love Once We Learn
To Interpret The Mystery

For Love Is Ever Present, But
Never In Sight, For We Often
Look But Never See

So I Ask Where Is Love?

Love Is Here Love Is There
Love Is Everywhere
Once We Open Our Hearts And
Souls And Accept Ourselves
For Whom We Are And Love
Ourselves As We Are
See?
It might have been made into a song later on. but im clueless about that.

I'm thinking you might be referring to Noel Paul Stookey - better known as one-third of Peter, Paul & Mary - who had a hit with "Wedding Song (There Is Love)". If the song you're thinking of was mostly acoustic guitar and vocals, then I'm pretty certain this is the one.

I'd advise you to go to allmusic.com, where I believe you can listen to a 30-second snippet from the song.

Good luck!

I don't know if this is the song you're referring to, but in the late 60's, early 70's The Supremes had a song called Love is here and now you're gone, here are the lyrics:

Hope it helps!

Go to www.leoslyrics.com. I have found that when it is working it is the best site out there, because you can type in phrases or scattered words to songs that you don't know the name of or artist.

Sounds like George Harrison or John Lennon. But then again I think everything sounds like George Harrison or John Lennon.

Are you freaking kidding? How on earth are we supposed to know what you are talking about by that description? Most songs from that era were about love. And "something, something"? What the hell?

You are referring to John Lennon's song "Love is"

The words are:

Love is real, real is love,
Love is feeling, feeling love,
Love is wanting to be loved.
Love is touch, touch is love,
Love is reaching, reaching love,
Love is asking to be loved.
Love is you,
You and me,
Love is knowing,
We can be.
Love is free, free is love,
Love is living, living love,
Love is needing to be loved.
