I found out I had endometriosis right after I had my son. Shorlty after that, I found out I was no longer fertile and begun taking medicine for it. That didn't work. I have so longed to get pregnant again with no success. But this month, something happened that made me check my symptoms online. Is it possible for me to naturally start ovulating again? If I DID infact ovulate this month, what are the chance it will continue? Thanks to anyone who answers.

Yes you can start ovulating after not ovulating. It's possible!

As you know the menstrual cycle is hormone based and when your hormones work in the right amounts and at the right times you will be fertile. It all depends on your body as to how long this will last.

If you want to know if your fertility is continuing you need to go and have blood tests run for: FSH, LH, estrogen, progesterone. I also recommend having your thyroid function tested to rule out hyper and hypo-thyroidism.

What makes you think that you haven't been ovulating all along?

Infertility doesn't necessarily mean that you aren't ovulating. It just means that you are unable to conceive – meaning that the problem could be with the ovulation, or sperm reaching the egg, or the egg implanting properly in your uterine lining…

The only person who can give you correct advice would be an obgyn or fertility specialist/perintologist. You should contact your doctor and see what your options are.
