If you think it's a scam, it probably is. Trust your instincts.

And remember, nothing is free. Nothing. Just ignore the card.

what I usually do is google the company name and if there are scams, the links will come up especially Ripoffcenter.com, I had to do this because "Passport to Fun" had taken out money from my bank account which caused all kinds of problems and when I googled this, Ripoff came up immediately with stories of exactly what had happened to me and they have suggestions on how to take care if something does happen and you can always check with the Better Business Bureau. Good luck!

No, it is probably a scam or a predatory loan company. If it sounds too good to true it usually is. My policy is not to respond to any offers by mail, and just utilize my own resources and knowledge for my credit needs.

did you ask for anything from them?
did the envelope have a bulk mail stamp?
are they asking anything from you ? like Money...social security number...bank account numbers...generally when something smells bad..it is. Call the better business bureau to find out....my best guess..toss it.

NO! Think about it, how did they get your name to send you this card? Unless you requested it, they got your name off a bulk mailing list, and they are sending it to everyone on that list, hoping a sucker will bite. Don't be that sucker.
