It's a certainty that they do. As an American, I can say that the U.S. government has been lying its head off for around 60 years now when it comes to the UFO phenomenon, not to mention most other things as well. I know this because of a close encounter I had with a UFO on a schoolyard in Georgia in 1952. I had two other witnesses with me at the time, and the story made the front page of our local newspaper, The Moultrie Observer. However, we were not the source of the story. Many other witnesses, all over our town and Colquitt County, saw what was apparently the same UFO, a huge circular craft which flew at an incredible speed and made 90 degree turns without slowing down.

If you're interested in UFOs like I am, read some stuff on wikipedia (links below) and other UFO sites. There's no question that the govt has acted very, very strange about UFOs throughout modern history.
My thoughts are that it could be two possibilities: They're extraterrestrial in origin or it's extremely secret govt/foreign govt aircraft that the govt is trying to keep secret indefinitely.
There's been many credible witnesses to UFOs and even astronauts (Gordon Cooper, etc.) that firmly believed that there were extraterrestrial spacecraft that the govt knew about but suppressed.

Why would the CIA or FBI have information about UFOs? (If there are.) Its more likely that the DoD holds this kind of data. They have control over the groom lake facility. Do they not?

They do. They'll never release it. Learn to live with it. Keep on the hunt and never involve them in anything if you find something interesting. Write them out of the equation.
