Can I get examples of Postmodernism in movies and what exactly about the films make it postmodernism genre?

Look at Edward Scissorhands as a classic example.

I teach film for a university - so I can't tell you the answer out right! Look up the definition of postmodern - then look at some recent films.

You will make the correlation if you look around.

Postmodernism is made up of many elements. Full and total experimentation is one. Another one is a character's acknowledgment that he or she is in a work of fiction. Also, the interconnectedness of human relations is something that makes postmodernism different from the isolationist tendencies of the modernist writers. Nearly all movies made after 1970 would be considered postmodern or have some postmodern tendencies.
