You have to make a strong effort to not let your mind be held hostage by what you went through with your ex-boyfriend. If you can do that you'll overcome your nightmares and your fears. If not this guy is gonna continue to control your mind, and you'll continue to endure fear and have nightmares. As for you fearing him coming back, you can put a restraining order out on him, so if he comes near you, he'll be arrested. Or you can take up self defense classes, so you can give him the @$$ whipping he deserves. I say this because, i happen to be a guy who can't stand when a guy beats on a woman. You have the right to defend yourself. I wish you the best and hope everything works out for you baby.

either talk to some one at a Battered Womans Shelter or go get an epo that will keep him 500 feet from you at all times and if he breaks it then he can go to jail othere wise set up a system with some close friends where they randomly drop in to see you or where if you are in trouble you can call them with some kind of signal like call and let it ring once and hang up or let it ring til they answer and hang up when you hear their voice any thing to make them aware that you are in trouble good luck hun i know that you are gonna need it i been there too
