First of all, you should give yourself a bit of time to calm down, because you're probably pretty upset, and anything you say right now, you may regret in the future. Once you feel calm enough to talk to your friend, you should let her know exactly how you feel about her dating the guy you like. While I agree that it was very uncool of her to date him after you told her how you felt, you should remember that he won't be around forever, and the two of you will probably be friends again. Even when you're telling her how she hurt you, don't be unnecessarily cruel. If she's a good friend she'll understand that you're hurt and will give you time to feel better on your own. If she does something like this again, though, it's time to end the friendship and move on. Friends just don't date other friends' guys.

I assume the two of you are in your early teens. She has made a big mistake. If you truly care about this friend,I suggest chilling back hanging with her.You don't have to confront, she knows what did is wrong,If she cares about you as you do about her, this will eventually eat her up.Give her no mercy.Let her feel the pain that you have endured. The guy is going to use her & dump her soon. After all is done, leave your heart open to reconcile. It's the same mistake I made as a youth.I am 50 &live in another state than my best friend that I did this to.We still keep in touch, visited her a year ago,When we recouped our friendship-the guy was history-& we never brougt the matter up.Remember this: you also WILL make a bad judgement call at sometime. Keep The Faith

if your about 14, this happens. If she has been a friend for a long time you should eventually forgive her. yeah she should have respected you but she didnt and he was fair game. It sucks i know but friends are more important then men. Unless it is your husband.
