If you must know, John Hancock was a socialite well known in British higher ranks. Leaving him with pleanty of private time to "take care of buisness". He was the one who had the LARGEST signature on the Declaration of Independance to make sure any Brit's that saw it knew he had signed it. His signature probably wasn't the only thing of his that was large, hense the name.
