If acne has occured on the chest/stomach area due to shaving, how does one get rid of the acne? Also if you have acne on your back without shaving (natural acne). I was suggested to get rubbing alcohol, if so how much do I apply and when, etc.

I suggest Proactiv solution. It can be used on your face or your body. Check out http://www.proactiv.com for more info.

The acne on you chest from shaving could be ingrown hairs. A product called *No Bumps* or *Dermalogica Medicated Clearing Gel* will help with that. Or you can just use hydrogen peroxide on the infected areas. For the acne on your back, again you can use hydrogen proxide on the infected areas.

I would recommend a product called Dermalogic. Using the conditioning body or the anti bac face wash will help purify the acne. Then follow with the medicated clearing gel at night. You pick a acne skin kit from a Dermalogica Spa for $25.00. Your best bet is to see a Dermalogica Skin Therapist in your local area that can suggest proper products for your condition.

Home acne remedies: Wash the face thoroughly with a non-oily face wash twice a day. After wiping off the water from the face apply tea-tree oil on the face. This can reduce the acne chances.

Don’t apply any oily or chemical cosmetics on the face. Apart from this basic acne remedy you can also use natural cleansers for better results.

Forget alcohol, just get in the bathtub and foam up with antibacterial soap all over then shower down with hot water that opens and cleans skin, then use cold water to close pores up.
Put aloe vera on skin after bath...acne should be gone in a day or 2.

due to shaving huh?
I would say use a body wash that has acne meds like Nuetrogena or stridex.
I would also try to contact a dermatologist or do a search on google to see what else can be done.
