I am on my period, have clotting, not much blood, light pink, but have clots. Some people think this could be a M/C. Well if infact is what would it feel like?

Every miscarriage is different. If you think you are having a miscarriage you need to get to your OB/gyn now. One way to tell is if you go thru 5 thick Maxi pads in less than an hour, and I'm not talking about a small amount I'm talking about drenched and leaking.

Was your period late? If you think you may be pregnant, then go to the doctor. This might sound gross, but put some of the clots in a plastic ziplock bag to take to the doctor for analysis. If you are pregnant and miscarrying, the doctor will be able to tell if your body expelled it naturally, or if you need a D&C. I don't know if it could be implantation bleeding either. I have had periods with clots before, but if you aren't bleeding heavy along with it, that's strange. I would definately go to the doctor right away. At least call the office and see what they say. Good luck.

Early miscarriages would feel nothing different than a normal period. That's why so many women have them without knowing. Blood clots are a sign of miscarriage but could also be something else (Change in hormones, birth control, stress). Even a doctor wouldn't be able to tell you if you were miscarrying unless he/she already knew you were pregnant. Just listen to your body on this one.

If you're on your period, you're not miscarrying. If you're miscarrying, you're not having your period.

If you are miscarrying, and you're in the first couple of months, the miscarriage will feel just like having a period with cramping and such.

If you know that you are pregnant, and you are experiencing the bleeding with clots, you are definitely miscarrying.

IN all likelyhood it's your period...some clots are totally normal with the flow.

Were you late getting your period?

Are you pregnant? Perhaps you should go see a doctor instead of asking for help on here!
