sometimes if you belong to an artists's or band's fan club, they will have pre-sales. Otherwise, use a ticket broker to pay big but get a great seat after they go on sale.

Normally radio stations will offer for you to be the # (eg. 7th) caller to win the tickets for whatever concert they're promoting. And others would likely play a song backwards for you to call and guess or play part of a clip of a song and for you to call and guess.
