*I think there was an old issue of The Flash where he actually did run his way back in time.
That's a tough call overall. Superman IS fast, but man- the Flash's *specialty" is speed....

They used to be 'equally' fast, that's why the races kept ending in ties. But now, since the reboot of the DC universe after Crisis on Infinite Earths, Superman can no longer go faster than light. Flash is faster. Flash is integrated with the Speed Force, and Superman is not.

Doesn't Superman have to fly into space in order to travel back in time and the Flash can just run in a circle to travel back in time, wasn't that how he met Kid Flash or his older self in the future, and didn't Booster gold who was from the future say the flashes powers where even stronger in the future?
Flash is way faster than Superman in my opinion.

According to DC's current versions of its hero's powers, Flash is faster than Superman. In prior versions, Supes was more or less equal.

let me start this by saying i like comics
i have 2000
but the only evidince i have for this is the episode where the flash is in smallville
the flash beats the man of steel in that race
i cant remeber them racing in the comics so i am going ot go with the flash

flash is the fastest so you would not see if he wins but you do see superman pass the finish lane since superman is only as fast as an speeding train but fash is so fast you cant see him

The flash...whos better at brain surgery a general doctor or a neurosurgery specialist. Right, so whos better at speed: the superhero with tons of powers of the superhero who specialises in speed.
