Where do you live. You can get pom poms and cheer gear at some dance stores, some towns have actual cheer shops. There are countless cheer stores for online shopping and of course there is always eBay. You should shop around to get the best deal. Keep in mind the different type handles, fullness, and how many colors in each one will vary the price so know exactly what you need. Otherwise talk to the squad and suggest that they do fundraiser (like car wash) to pay for pom poms for the entire squad that are turned in at the end of the season and reused next year. That is what our squad is doing reusing last years items.

we bought ours at www.cheerleading.com 1-800-411-4105
they have everything from rooter poms (around $4) to show poms. We purchased a wet look 2-color 6 inch pom pom with baton handles for $8 each....best price we saw around, and they have several colors already in stock so they can ship out in a day or 2.
good luck
