We are ttc, and it's too soon to take a hpt. I am due this week sometime for my period and it seems like i am getting pms. Could pms and pregnancy symptoms be a like? I feel a little crampy and bloated. I am very regular on my cycle and we had unpretected sex during the week of ovulaton... but this was our first month ttc. Not sure what to expect : )

Watch for tender breasts and nipples, being tired, nausea, a heightened sense of smell, or any implantation bleeding (not everyone has it, but it could be as little as a spot or light bleeding). When I got pregnant with my daughter, I had bleeding for 2 days around days 19 & 20 of my cycle. I didn't think implantation bleeding could be that long, so I didn't get my hopes up of being pregnant. The day before I was scheduled to start, my nipples just started to get a little tender. Some of the better hpt's can test up to 5 days before your scheduled period, but I would advise waiting until you are scheduled to start before taking one. Rarely do they give false positives, but taking it too early can give a false negative. When your ttc, you don't need that disappointment - especially if it's wrong. Good luck!

A lot of women have "pregnancy" symptoms every month as PMS. This includes tender breasts, nausea, cramps, headaches, etc. Just wait it out and see if you get your period. Don't stress to hard though because it may upset your cycle. Good luck and have a great night!

Some pregnancy symptoms may be similar to pms however the only for sure way to tell is through a blood test, ultrasound, or a reliable pregnancy test.

When I was pregnant I felt like I was getting pms then missed a period. When you are pregnant you get crampy, from the growing uterus, and your breasts hurt and you feel sick sometimes. So yeah I guess the answer is, yes.

Yes, they are but every pregnancy is different. Try to reduce stress. Stress will decrease ovulation and will cause your period to be late. Try and go out and do something fun with your hubby, decrease stress and if your not pregnant now you might be when the outing is over. Have fun and try and relax....Do not forget to have "unprotected sex" from here on out. Ovulation can be different from month to month so if you aren't pregnant now you will increase your chances of getting pregnant.
