Well, I have blog at Blogger.com. I have been trying different methods of inserting categories on my blog.

Currently I am using delicious2Blogger by Phydeaux. You need to have a de.li.ci.ous account. The hack simply grabs the categories and integrates them with your blog. Visitors can easily browse through posts within categories ON YOUR BLOG itself..

If you don't want to go through this process of creating an account with de.li.cious...

You can sign up for Blogger BETA at http://beta.blogger.com.
All new accounts created on the BETA version have labels (categories). It's quite easy!

You can also try visiting http://www.ylcf.org/2005/12/blogger-categories.html. The method mentioned in this website is not very effective. But see if it works for you...

I am not aware of any way to create "categories" as I have seen on certain other blogs.

BUT: I can think of a substitute. So far as I know, this does not break any rules.

Start a second blog. Call it "(Blog Name's) Service Blog" (or whatever name strikes your fancy.) Use the names of your categories to create and name your service blog posts. Fill your service blog's posts with links back to your original blog's posts. You can edit your service blog's posts to add more links as you add more posts to your original blog.

Then, modify your original blog's template to have a list of links to your service blog's posts along the side with the links, recent posts, and archives.

Good luck!
