The lamp was knocked off the table by a dog and will no longer come on when touched. Can it be repaired.

Yes the lamp can be repaired. There is a break in the field sensor find the break and repair it and the lamp will work again.
I hope you tried a known good bulb first.

Weight the cost of the lamp and the cost to repair the lamp.
Now the big question: Would it be worth it?

The control module is $12 at Lowe's. You need someone to put it in if you cannot.

id toss it and buy another one, just as cheap to do that , than have it fixed.
