Any body like that movie? I personally thought it sucked!

i really find it funny how ppl say it's good... but it wasn't

It was craptastic...
M. Knight tried a little too hard to make a touching fairy tale. The only decent character in that movie was the main character - every one else was overblown. Not to mention M. Knight had a weird infatuation with the leading lady - everyone in the movie kept gushing about how attractive she was, when she just looked like a bleached eyebrow freak. And then M. Knight makes himself out to be the guy who saves the world... c'mon... You are not a serious actor, so stop trying to fit yourself into each of your movies. AND STOP WITH THE SURPRISE ENDINGS. We spend so much time trying to guess the ending, we can't even enjoy the movies anymore. I had the Village figured out not even halfway through it.
Wow, I am gushing. I guess he pissed me off a little.

Actually, it surprises me how the OVERWHELMING number of critics hated it. (Perhaps they took the role of the film critic in the movie too personally!)
I just saw the movie today. What impacted me was the role of the writer -- how his book would one day inspire the future leader.
This spoke to me -- how we never know (or will never know in our lifetime) how much of an influence we made on someone. It is a reminder to be aware of the responsibility you have as a creative being.
To encourage others. To lift others, and give them an Upward purpose for living. If that doesn't mean anything to you, then you should ask yourself "Why am I here?"

That was the worst movie I've ever seen. Horrible. I was embarrised for M. Night Shamilin. I read a great quote about that movie that went "Maybe the horrible ending was the twist."
That movie was a slopped together mess.

actually me too! it was supposed to be good, but it really had no story to it at all! i think that the whole idea of a lady living in the water is quite dumb

It wasn't great like the Sixth Sense, but at least it wasn't like a Gigli!
