I just had a portrait taken at Walgreens for my blog and for profile photos many other places. I wished that I hadn't done it since I thought I looked ugly.
People have always considered me to be attractive but now they might say: he looks OK for his age.
Is all of this just silly vanity?
Is it better to have an abstract or cartoon image for portraits? Not every one is photogenic.

We are always harder on ourselves than others are on us. Don't worry about it and be yourself :)

I'm 28 and I hate the way I look in photos. I try to avoid getting my picture taken.

Yes its normal some of us take bad picture at all ages just look around youty.
