It took 8 months to conceive my daughter, so by the 8th month, I was charting anything and everything in hopes of narrowing down why I wasn't conceiving. We are ttc again, so I have been reviewing my old charts. I didn't even have the slightest nipple tenderness until the day before I was scheduled to begin my period. My breasts gradually got more sore, but soreness started to diminish a couple weeks earlier than expected - usually they're sore for the first trimester. I've heard of women that find out they're pregnant when they're already thru their first trimester, so unless they are just totally clueless, they must not have had tender breasts. Have you had any other symptoms, like being tired, nausea, heightened sense of smell, or any implantation bleeding? Although, not everyone has all or any of those symptoms either. Good luck.

I am also hoping that i'm pregnant! It is too soon to take a hpt for me... but my boobs aren't sore either! I'm starting to think i'm not pregnant because the only symptoms I have are PMS : ( However, I talked to my mother in law and she said that when she was pregnant with her first two children her boobs were not tender... so there is some hope! They say being tired a lot is one of the first signs, so look for other symptoms than tender boobs :) I know how hard it is too be patient, but when you missed your first period take a hpt or visit your doctor! Good Luck to you!

For me, sore boobs didn't come until after the baby was born. Later (around 7 months)in my 2nd pregnancy my boobs did start to feel different - but never sore.
