If you know a guy is the love of your life, but you have a very painful past with him, and he knows you want?

to talk to him a little bit before dating him again...just to trust him, should I just ask him....even if i wanted him to take the iniuitive this ONE TIME? What should I do, swallow my pride when I'm so hurt?

Love is a two way street, he should be willing to meet you half way and talk things through.
