I need to sell my piano because it's beginning to take up too much room. It's a Wheelock baby grand. On the harp it says "23 P" beneath "Made in USA". (not sure what that means.) It needs a fair amount of cosmetic touch-up, tuning and work on the hammers. Can anyone tell me how much that would be worth or how much the work would be and how much I could sell it for after that. Thanks.

That is something you really should get appraised so you don't sell it to cheep... or ask way to much... but with out seeign it its hard to determine its value.

As you probably know, Bosendorfer is just about the best piano in the world. Only Steinway and Bechstein rival it. I'm sure it's worth tens of thousands of dollars depending on the condition but you're correct that you need a proper appraisal from an expert.
