It depends on your age, stress level, health, and sexual habits.

Age: If you're young, (even in your twenties) your period may still be irregular. It sometimes takes years for periods to become regular.

Stress Level: If you're under high levels of stress you're period may be acting a bit wacko.

Health: If you're unhealthy, you're period may not come at the right time.

Sexual Habits: If you've had intercourse lately, unprotected or protected, you may be pregnant.

If you're still not sure, see a doctor to be safe.

Some women are as regular as the phases of the moon (hence the 28 day cycle). Some aren't due to ovarian or uterine difficulties. Also, we can become pregnant and the embryo doesn't implant that month, then the next month we menstruate and miscarry the embryo. Happens all the time. Ask your OB-GYN.

Periods usually only come late if you are under stress or pregnant or having other medical issues. You might want to buy a pregnancy test first though.

first off are you a woman or a young girl? are you sexually active and do you play alot of sports?it is not normal for a late period but these may be some of the reasons. if your older it could be the start of the change, if your young and sexually active you could be pregnanr and if your are an athlete it changes your system so dramatically you may not have a period for6 months.

sometimes your body skips one. I have done it a few times in my life and the next month I started and didn't have anything problems. It's normal to be late or early maybe a few times a year. If you don't start this month go to the doctor.

Yes, it sometimes is. If you recently had sex, then that might be why. Also, if you're like, in your 40s or 50s, around that time is when women stop having their periods, but if you're still concerned, you should consult with a doctor before any assumptions. :) Hope all ends well.

Yes, it is normal to skip a month. that can be brought on by stress or if you were ill at anytime. Sometimes we are just fortunate enough to miss that month. If you are sexually active, you better be seeing a doctor or taking a pregnancy test.

u night be pregnant, or it may be that you are under alot of stress at the moment. my best mate had very regular periods, then in a time of stress they actually came 2 weeks early. other people can completely skip them. it could also be because of poor nutrition. if you are really worried i would suggest going to see your doctor

Sometimes during periods of high tension or exercise women have irregular periods, however if you have been having unprotected sex, you might want to go take a pregnancy test...
