Set a daily time limit for yourself and stick to it. Reward yourself on the weekends for good behavior during the week and increase your time a little. Make a plan for the first week or so-have a list of alternate activities to distract yourself whenever you feel the urge to sign on. If it's really a problem for you, maybe you should try to wean yourself gradually. Set a target for week one decreasing the time you normally spend by a half hour or an hour. Increase the time by half an hour to an hour each week until you get to your goal. Good luck. Hope this helps!!!

Just like designing a diet. or trying to stop smoking. Set realistic goals you can live with and stay with them. Research how much time you have that can be internet time and go from there.
watchthe computer clock and stay with your goals.
It'll be a great learning lesson for you and make it easier to make other choices.

Don't go near the computer at all, and try to find something else to take it's place, like reading a good book, or some other thing you like to do. :)
