i'm kind of doing an experiment here...
what do you think draws people to celebrities? why do you think they follow them and read tabloids?
i asked the same question in different wording under music and entertainment/ celebrities, to see what the people reading that section would say, if you want to see their answers its under "just wondering?"

because Americans are pathetic losers with zero self esteem sitting in their trailers eating gallons of ice cream and trying to live out their miserable existence living vicariously through these 'stars' lives... paris hilton, lindsey lohan, jessica simpson... give me a f ucking break.

I think what draws people to celebrities is the fact that everyone believes that celebrities are "above" the average human and a good idols to follow. They always seem to have perfect emotion control and we love erverything they do.
I also think that in our world where everything is " so real" we like to dream about idols who seem unrreal which makes us believe there is still so much hope in this world

This is interesting question..I guess just thinking someone is better than us makes us think were better ..but the truth of it is ..we all the same in gods eyes and no one is better ..did you know you could write a book and make million dollars and well then you could show up at some grand dinner party and if you spot them.... well wink and say go screw yourself cuz you thought you was better than me ...at one time!!!.... just remember they just people who have money ..and thats it in a nutshell ..just pick a celeb to like thats not up in some grandeur world that makes them think their high and mighty..pick someone to crush on thats down to earth..you will be better off in the long run...
