Have u been reading my mind? It seems everyone is your friend until U need something... then they disappear, or r 2 busy, or... but if THEY need something, they expect u 2 b right there 4 them. I really hate that!

Luckily, you CAN choose your friends. Family, on the other hand, no choice there. Dealing with all the different personalities of the family members should give you an idea of how to choose good people to be near you in your life. Choose wisely those in the future and let go of the ones that are not a positive influence your life.

I used to put up with this... But, not now...
No word of lie...
I have cut some friendships that I had for a long time, because I was tired of "holding on" to friendships that were one sided like that...
Now, I cut people out of my life, at the first sign of manipulation...
Is your rols in life to RESCUE others from thier own destruction...???
Seriously, get rid of anyone who disrespects you, or someone you feel you are doing favours for all of the time...
You shouldn't have one sided friendships...
Cut them out of your life...
and FAST...
You have to earn my trust...

I know how it feels. I keep very few friends, and the ones that just want to use you, cut them loose. They are users and care nothing for you, isn't it obvious?

The only people I classify as friends are actually that. I let all other relationships drift away.

omg, i sooooo totally know what you mean!!!! i had this one friend that i've known my entire life and she would constantly use me and then say she was sorry and i'm kind of a sucker for an apology so i would always forgive her. for 14 years she drove me crazy and i always had to put up with her drama and her guy issues but she was never there for me and she'd blame everything on me. she finally had this one boyfriend who didn't like me at all and told my friend that if she didn't stop being friends with me, he'd break up with her. so to keep up her relationship with him, she stopped talking to me. and that was it. she apologized after they broke up of course but i finally told her no and i haven't spoken to her in nearly half a year and i feel amazing!!!!! anyway, moral of the story, if they're stupid like that, talk to them and stick up for yourself. if they tell you they understand but continue to do it, you really gotta warn them. you wanna give them a chance but not too many so that they take advantage of you like my friend did to me. if you really are a good friend to them then you don't deserve their garbage. your life and your happiness is for YOU. not for them to take over and mess around with. you're a person too and you've gotta stick up for your own rights, not theirs. i hope you don't end up like i did for all those years. i hope no one ever takes advantage of you or your friendship. good luck!!!
