This can be a tricky problem. Prior to any action you should interact and discuss this with your neighbor. Legally, this is a civil matter between the property owners. Typically a landowner may remove vegetation that crosses their property line (or the air space directly above it). YOu should come up with a plan that satisfies you and your neighbor...maybe you could bring in an arbiter if you think it's going to get ugly. In any case is there a way you could cut the vine so that it doesn't harm the whole plant? if you cut the vine and it kills the plant you could be technically violating her property rights, so prune it carefully (but it is your responsibility to pay for the pruning costs) and then try to re-direct the vine growth through trellises, or fences etc (this would be her responsiblity) so it doesn't come on your property

First talk with your neighbor and see if you can come to a mutual aggrement. If you can not then legally you can cut the vine on your property back to the fence. Round up would take care of the problem its a systemic plant killer spray the foliage and it will soon kill the whole plant roots and all. No one would be wiser.

you can have it removed and send her the bill if she chooses not to respond to your request to remove it... be ready with plenty of documents as the damage her vine has cost to your roof and home... she is responsible for her vine coming onto your side of the fence....talk to her first and see where things go from there... check with local free legal clinics in your area

I think I would nicely ask here to prune her plant away from your fence and home. If no, write her a letter stating you would like it removed promptly or you will have to do it yourself. If no, do it yourself and however you want. Document and photograph everthing. Give her ample opportunity to do the right thing.

legally, you cannot bill her- however you may ask her to have someone reove them or trim back. If its that bothersome, have someone do it yourself. Let her know she has 2 options- to cut them back or they will be removed. Good Luck. Sounds like an annoying neighbor!

If it was me, and I did have that problem once. Cut it down on your side, and continue to do that. If it don't stop.. go on her side and dig the problem ones out by the root. You don't want to get on the wrong side of her, you do have to live there so.. just do your own thing with it.

How much is two months' growth. Don't you think you are overreacting just a little? Ask youself some questions first. Is it worth causing hard feelings between you and your neighbor? Does she have a nice rack? Do you have a nice rack? Don't you think this can all be worked out on videotape?....

attempt getting him on my own and then scream in his face "I rebuke you in the call of Christ!" If he disappears in a cloud of smoke then that is devil. If he yells again retaining "What the hell?" then you extremely have a good type of explaining to do
