I had been used acne medicine from my dermatologist. It worked very well but the bad news is it peeled off my skin! I tried many other products for acne treatment, it doesnt work for me! Then, i heard about Arbonne. I have been using Arbonne (Arbonne Clear Advantage System) for a week now. I dont see any improvement on my skin. In fact, i see more acnes come out. WHat should i do now? DO i have to continue or stop? How much longer i have to use it to see that it will work for my skin? Any recommendation for other acne medicine products?

If your skin peeled off, you shouldn't have any problem with acne anymore. That's the good news.

Each person has a different skin type and reacts differently to medications. Your dermatologist should have, after seeing that one medication was not working and peeling your skin off, changed you to a new medication. I would say you need to see another / different dermatologist.
On the other hand, I have never heard of Arbonne, my daughter had a fairly severe acne problem and we took her to a dermatologist and his recommendation was a mail order product called Proactive, before he tried some stronger medication, and it worked, the Proactive cleared it all up, she has occasional attacks now, around that time of the month, but that's about it.

I never had severe acne but it was persistent all the way into my 30's. Now I have only occasional outbreaks and they are barely noticeable. Each morning I use neutrogena "Pore Refining Cleanser" followed by a liberal layer of Neutrogena "Oil-Free Moisture / sensitive skin" (not the spf it makes me break out more) and no soap
I use very little makeup so you may need to use a makeup remover if you wear much or possibly repeat treatment at bed time.
One of the things I learned was that although my skin seemed oily it was compensating for being over treated and dried out, now if I don't moisturize enough I break out again

Yea my acne isn't that bad either, it's just on my chin and around my nose. So I'm using proactiv, but it doesn't seem to do anything and it's so much work to do those 3 stupid steps. I guess our only option is to wait out this stupid phase and just try to keep it at bay. Good news is our skin is making lots of oil which will make us look younger when we're older.

Benzoyl Peroxide will usually peel skin but after a while it gets better, just ask your dermatologist if it is OK or ask for something else I use proactiv N it's been good 2 me but I hear it doesn't agree with every 1.

Most acne medications make your skin worse before it makes it better. You will have to give it a good month to see any results.Did you get the Arbonne from your Dermatologist or are you just trying it without his knowledge?

Try Proactive shown on television. My daughter had been using it now for about two months and her skin has cleared up dramatically she is also pregnant so her hormones are out of wack and the stuff still works on her face. Try it, it works.

A good product I use is either the Proavtive treatment, which used to be super expensive but is now only $20, or Biore products. For Blackheads, the Biore warming blackhead cleanser works well. Good luck! I am fighting the same battle!
