This is much simpler than you're thinking. All you have to do is talk to her for a few minutes and then get her home phone number. It helps if you have a sense of humor and the girl is at about the same level of attractiveness you are. A few days later, preferably at a time you know she will be home, make a 5 minute phone call to ask her out. Don't call more than once per day, and do not exceed 5 minutes on the phone at any point. But you need to chill out man! You have nothing to lose, so why worry?

Oh, yeah . . . one more thing: Do NOT tell her you like her, especially when you hardly know her! I cannot think of any reason you need to tell her that other than her explicitly asking you. Telling a girl how you feel almost always makes her lose respect for you, especially in the beginning of a relationship when she hardly knows you at all. In my opinion the best way to ask a girl out , is by simply telling her that you like her.If you have feelings for her tell her that. Worse way to do it is bye just walsing up to her and "saying will you go out with me?" because girls dont really like that. if your not already friends get to be her friend first to see if you guys have anything in common. thats a good start
