how so i get rid of a stye without going to the drs?

My Nan used to say rubbing it with real gold worked. I used to use her wedding ring, worked every time

Put a warm teabag (the cheaper the tea bag the better, because it contains more tannic acid) on the affected area. The tannic acid in the teabag will pull the infection from the stye, thus making the stye go away. Good luck!

The best way that I've found is to place a warm washcloth over your eye. This will help to reduce the pain and to help it go away. Do this for about 10 minutes every hour. It may take a day or two, but it works.
