Actually yes, but the celebrations are low keyed and confined to certain 'Kneipe' Pubs and these pubs are closed to the general public on that day (invitation only). The birthday (April 20, 1889) is mainly celebrated in Baden-Wuerttemberg and Bayern (Bavaria). People that say Germans don't celebrate the day have no idea what they're talking about...I've stumbled upon a few of these 'Birthday Parties' and been invited in. They don't praise Hitler and there isn't that much disscusion about him, but the party lasts well into the early hours of morning. Hitler is usually mentioned once by all the quests in the pub with a toast, "Herzlich Glückwunsch zum Geburtstag...Prost".
**Side note: When I was working as a window installer in Baden-Wuettermberg and Bayern, I've seen pictures of Hitler hanging on walls in private rooms as well as other remnants of the the Third Reich.
Add on....
I see some German people say it doesn't happen...all I have to say is what I said before...'it's a low key affair' and not celebrated by the vast majority of Germans, they tend to be over the age of 60.

i dont think germans of germany do celebrate his birthday, 20th april. after their defeat in the war, they needed the support of the allies to grow back as a nation and to be accepted into the global community. they had to forget against all odds about the inhumanity hitler had done and totally forget about what happened during the nazi era. till date, many germans are sensitive about this issue and they would not celebrate his birthday. - many nazi symbols are even banned in germany like the swatika and the salute, it is even aganist the law to deny that the holocaust didnot take place.

You are exactly right. I'm German and no one I know celebrates Hitler's birthday! We're all happy that he was defeated and that the Nazi regime came to an end, so why should we have parties for his birthday? I don't know what people germanada knows, but they sure must be jerks.

I sincerely doubt it! Germany as a whole has spent alot of money and time to distance themselves from Hitler. Even so far as to prosecute and imprison any of there countrymen who say that the Holocaust stories were lies.

there have been distinctive expenditures that Hitler had blue eyes; "Goebbels defined one in each and every of their first conferences with Adolf Hitler in his diary: "Shakes my hand. Like an previous pal. and those large blue eyes." There are both images and photographs of him, showing that he had blue eyes.
