The director decided that it's bit weird to have the kids run around in cloaks all the time, so he decided that they should wear normal british clothes. And the hogwarts kids don't have to wear their uniforms all the time anywya. Remember the sweaters that Mrs. Weasley sends the gang for X-Mas? They'd waer them, right?

The books are always better than the movies. In the movies, they change things around to suit the actors and stuff. The books are always better. Always read the books, before you watch the movies okay?

Wasn't it school holidays at that time? They can wear what theylike then think. The wizard robes are only for school like school uniform
