Well it doesn't surprise me.
From the beginning, Islam was spread by the sword. Mohommad was a soldier. His later disciples spread Islam to India, Malaya and Indonesia. The local inhabitants were told to convert to Islam or die.
No other incentives were offered. It was just....This is how it is! These are the rules! Don't question God's word! Nothing wrong with that. It's makes as much sense as any religion. Islam is a warrior religion. Buddhism is a pacifist religion. And so on. This doesn't mean one is better than the other.
Al-Quaeda is a joke. Why would anyone take any notice of their looney videos? Their capacity to make good on their threats is miniscule. That's why they're terrorists. They have no country. They have no navy or air force. The best they could ever do was hijack a few passenger planes. The only thing fueling them now is Western stupidity and bigotry. They baited the West into a fight and succeeded beyond their wildest dreams. The best way to defeat them is to laugh at them.
For the record. I've read the Koran from cover to cover. Much easier to read than the Bible. And a hell of a lot more straightforward, for what it's worth. Every passage begins "In the name of Allah, the compassionate, the merciful..." If He is so compassionate and merciful, how come so many of his followers are such blood thirsty lunatics?

I think it is quite a coincidence that a tape now surfaces that shows preparation for the events of 5 years ago. Yesterday I saw a clip of a guy chopping wood. I guess this was how they trained to fly planes and destroy buildings. I am not from Missouri but you still have to "show me." You can say that "we just got a tape and believe us it contains proof" and then not show all of it or show it in the proper context. I think the CIA makes a lot of these tapes. Whenever a tape is released we get stressed and feel the need to cling to Bush for protection.

C'mon now, do you really have to threaten people to get them to be interested in your ideal of religion?
I suppose if you hold a gun to my head, I might take a look at what you have to say. The Jehovah's Witnesses have been using a similar technique with fair results for years. Maybe Bin Ladin is using their methods as a model.

At least they aren't threatening to cut off our heads. Or are they? I don't know. But can you just imagine the flack and hysteria if the Pope released a video asking Americans to convert to Catholicism? There'd be riots in the streets ...

Never, I am Canadian and here we have people talking crazy and how good it is. I think personally the ones that are muslims, 90% of them are radical cowards ready and brainwashed to commit destruction because it is the will of Allah or ? Cowards I think of those who hide behind their Coran to do such acts against people who do not submit to their ways. Never would I ever consider it.

F converting to Islam. we should just get the hell outta there and stop provoking those psychoes. our troops need to come home. aren't we always butting our noses in other countries' buisness? and when have a problem nobody rushes to help us... look at hurricane katrina no one came to our rescue. we raised all that $ for the tsunami and we got?????

I haven't seen it but I can just imagine. Because we are a free society even sick radicals such as the K-daz can have their say. For us as Americans accustomed to freedom, it is no problem to view such stuff and see it for what it is. Unlike them, we are not a society of FEAR. They are so immersed in it they can't see the light of freedom. And, since misery loves company, they want everyone to have what they have.... utter misery.

During the crusades, we tried to convert the Muslems by the sword. It didn't work. Maybe now they are trying to do the same thing.
