get a pos blood test. my periods are irregular, i had sex on the 16th and have alot of pregnancy symptoms.we have also been trying since july 15. i'm peeing ALOT , have very sore boobs, and heavy feeling boobs, back hurts and tired alot. also seem to be eating more than normal.HPT come out neg.

Blood tests are 100% accurate and can be taken w/i a few days of ovulation - go take a test girl - what are you waiting for?

Wow, would be nice if people could read. Her question is how early after sex can you get a positive blood test? Blood test-10 days or so after sex. HPT-12 would be the EARLIEST for a result after sex, better of waiting until the day of your missed period.

Take another preggo test.. if the blood test was positive, than you are pregnant. Sometimes the home preggo tests can't determine a pregnancy, if you are barely preggo and it can't read your HCG levels. I conceived August 26, 2004 and took a home preggo test September 2, 2004. Negative. Took one again on September 11, 2004.. It was positive. Good luck!

I would say you could test about 3 days before your period is due. If you can wait, test on the day your actual period is due. You sound like you have some good signs of beign pregnant. But don''t get your hopes up until you know for sure. It just makes ttc feel longer and more stressful. I am also ttc. Good luck and let us know what you find out.

I think you may be a little too excited....back hurting and peeing alot are sypmtoms of a very pregnant woman, not a few weeks. You pee alot because of pressure on the bladder from the weight of the baby, which at this point, your baby would weight the same as a bean.

Blood tests are pretty positive. Call your doctor and ask for sure as to how soon they can tell you. They have one Home pregnancy test called EPT that you can detect pretty quickly. They never give a false positive. Congratulations if you are and enjoy your pregnancy.

Usually soon before and after your first missed period. The pregnacy hormones have to show in a HPT , But threw a bloodtest i would say it would show sooner. Contact a local heath department, or pregnacy clinic.

i would say anywhere from a week (maybe) to 2 or 3 weeks...if your test came out pos and you are having all these symptoms then it sounds like you are preggie....make a dr. appointment...bc you need to find out for sure
